Well Measured uses the latest Gerber Accumark™ digital software to create patterns quickly and accurately.
The use of this software reduces costs in time and paper as opposed to traditional card patterns.
It also allows me to work remotely with brands anywhere in the world.
Traditional card patterns can be easily damaged, lost and take up a lot of space to store. Whereas digital pattern files are easily stored and backed up, and can be transferred via email.
Digital pattern files can also be converted into generic file types (such as dxf) that other patternmaking software types may import and use on their systems.
Digital pattern files allow for accurate fabric usages for costings helping to eliminate waste on sampling fabrics and ordering of bulk production fabrications.
Block development is another area of patternmaking that Well Measured can assist with.
A good base block created to fit your model/mannequin perfectly can help improve the accuracy of the first pattern draft as well as achieve good consistency in fit across all of your designs.
